Tyrannosaurus rex, or T-Rex, was a large theropod dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous period. T-Rex had a massive skull with sharp teeth up to 10 inches long. T-Rex stood on two legs and had a powerful tail, thick legs and strong arms. It was likely fast and agile, able to reach speeds of up to 25 mph. T-Rex is known as the king of dinosaurs and its fossils have been found mainly in North America.
